Cardiff City rebranded Malaysia FC, relocates to Malaysia
Following Cardiff’s kit change from blue to red as part of the investment package from its Malaysian owners, the rebranding is to continue.
This includes the club being renamed Malaysia FC, being relocated to a suitable spot near Kuala Lumpur, and manager Malkay McKay either learning Malaysian or getting the sack.
The owners explained, “We believe that the only way to make Cardiff more successful is to disassociate from Cardiff as much as possible.
“Thereby the kit, name and location of the club are just some of the things we are looking at changing.
“It might irritate the supporters, but at least it might give them a sniff of winning something.
“But probably not.”

Ridsdale will be lurking out there probably….
Good point. More likely to find him there than in Leeds.
I know this is tongue in cheek but the possibility of such things happening may crop up more with the ownership of our clubs all going abroad
Hi Stevo I heard that from 2013 the Spanish Supercopas will be played in China! Only a matter of time shirley.
