Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic voice concerns over Rome hotel blue toilet seats

Following through from their anger over the blue clay surface at the Madrid Masters last week, star tennis duo Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have made similar comments about the toilet seats in their hotels for the current tournament in Rome.

The pair have warned that unless organisers revert to more traditional types of toilet seats starting from next year, they might leave Rome out of their calenders.

Uncomfortable

An Italian hotel manager replied, “We’re obviously very concerned about Rafa and Novak’s comments and will investigate their claims promptly.

“It seems that the new surfaces are restricting their movements.

“Specifically – their bowel movements.

“We don’t need to emphasise that Rome is – and will continue to be – an integral part of the ATP Tour and we therefore will do our utmost to ensure that our bathrooms are to the standards the players expect.”
