Bitter United still raging about City having money to buy Fergie Time

The aftermath of Manchester City’s triumph in the Premier League title race has been marked by claims from rivals United that they have only won through by spending money on any number of players, and most crucially the extra minutes at the end of the match known as Fergie Time, which has previously appeared exclusively for United.

Seething Simon from Salford spat, “City have spent so much money. Historically successful clubs like United, Liverpool and Arsenal never spend anything or have any luck at all, of course.”

Fergie sarcastically applauds better team

The Red Devils’ players and staff were similarly indignant when finding excuses for being beaten by their “noisy neighbours”.

“I see City played against ten men for half an hour and had five minutes of stoppage time to help them,” Sir Alex Ferguson fumed.

“It’s unthinkable that any other team could ever enjoy such advantages.”

The club’s medical staff later had to surgically remove his tongue from his cheek.

And his head from his own backside.

Ironically, or not, United’s starting XI yesterday actually cost more than City’s XI
