Mancini mind games latest: “All my players are rubbish and will lose every match until the end of the season”

Roberto Mancini has once again weighed into the mind games over the Manchester title race by assuring that City have absolutely no chance of getting a result at Norwich today.

Going a step further on from his recent remarks, the Italian solemnly said, “We’ve got about as much hope of winning the title as Mario Balotelli has of acting like a grown up.”

Confused

Sir Alex Ferguson responded in typical fashion by insisting, “It’s mathematically impossible for United to win the league now.

“And Carlos Tevez is a smelly head.”

But Arsene Wenger cautioned: “I’ve been telling my players they won’t win anything for ages and it hasn’t made them win anything yet so I’d advise against it.

“After seven years of trials I can announce with some certainty that reverse psychology doesn’t work on footballers.

“Most of them seem capable of following only the simplest of instructions, such as HEEL! and SIT!”
