Andy Carroll claims first Liverpool victim – with many more to come

Newcastle United’s double agent, Andy Carroll, has disposed of his first victim at Liverpool in the shape of Damien Comolli.

Comolli’s days were numbered from the moment the Magpies engineered the £35 million piece of Premier League devilry last January.

Carroll’s work is just beginning however as he continues his progress towards getting the seemingly untouchable head of Kenny Dalglish to roll.

Extensive media coverage of his apparent failings on the pitch have disguised the true purpose of Carroll’s assignment – to dismantle Liverpool’s management structure from top to bottom.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew let it slip when he described Carroll as “a great player” after the two teams met a couple of weeks ago, clearly seeking to exaggerate the myth.

The deadly mystery goes on.
