Bahrain still protesting over possible Grand Prix invasion

Unopposed

The President of Bahrain’s Automobile Federation has warned it may not be possible for the country to host the F1 Grand Prix in April as protests against Bernie Ecclestone’s dictatorship show no signs of abating.

The President said, “Everyone in Bahrain is talking about whether or not the Grand Prix will go ahead – it’s completely overwhelmed the public’s previous gripe with the state’s dictatorship.

“They’re actually not that bothered about the ruling family, but seeing Ecclestone and his cronies come to town again is more than most can take.

“So I can’t guarantee that the people will let the Bahrain Grand Prix go ahead this year – and I can’t say I blame them.”
