Steve Kean officially on a hiding to nothing

We can now confirm that Blackburn manager Steve Kean is officially on a hiding to nothing after many supporters criticised him for leading his side to consecutive Premier League victories.

Blackburn beat Sunderland 2-0to give Kean his first back-to-back wins of his career – a statistic that some supporters used to argue how useless he is.

He's no chicken

Kean is now said to be as unpopular in Blackburn as George Osborne is in any NHS waiting room.

Season ticket holder Jeff confirmed, “Me and my mates have made a habit of Kean bashing.

“Some of us are unemployed as the economy’s so slow up here so protesting at Ewood looks great on your CV because employers can see you’ve been doing something useful.

“Unless they’re not Blackburn fans.”

I’m pleased that a Premiership team has stuck a manager and he’s starting to turn it around.
I think Mick McCarthey may have got Wolves out of it too.

Well said. Oddly, the Blackburn “faithful” don’t seem so happy themselves.
