Di Matteo hoping to ‘cupset’ Birmingham

Vainly seeking eroticism

Chelsea interim scapegoat Roberto Di Matteo has spoken of getting enough passion from his players to cause a major upset and beat Birmingham City in the FA Cup.

The teams will meet in a replay at St Andrew’s after a performance of appropriate indifference from the Blues’ millionaire layabouts scraped them a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Di Matteo argued, “Technically I’m on my honeymoon so I’m hoping that there’ll be enough passion generated to stop Didier Drogba from texting Jose Mourinho during the match and stick the ball in the net for once.

“I’m also expecting it to drag Frank Lampard’s thoughts away from running for the Conservatives in the next election, as well as stopping John Terry from applying for BNP membership.

“But in all honesty I’d be delighted with still being in a job tomorrow morning.”

If di Matteo keeps up the kind of result he got tonight, he might able be appointed full time scapegoat.
