British Cardinal criticises gay marriage between Sir Alex Ferguson and Premier League

Cardinal Keith O’Brien has made a controversial statement warning that allowing same-sex marriages in Britain will result in the same kind of monotonous relationship that Sir Alex Ferguson has with the Premier League.

Despite the sport still being dominated by men, the marriage works as Ferguson playing the dominant male role, with everyone obediently being his long-suffering wife.

Always the boss

The Cardinal said, “They’re all blokes but there’s only one chap been wearing the trousers for years!

“Everyone else runs around after his every wish – the opposition managers, players, the referees and the media.

“In the last 26 times that Spurs have played United they haven’t won once. That’s bordering on domestic abuse.

“Traditionalists criticise La Liga for being dominated by Madrid and Barcelona, but when you see that Spurs, who are still considered title challengers, have literally as little hope of beating United as Rangers supporters have of celebrating anything this season, then you might as well start watching rugby.

“Even Roberto Mancini knew what the result at White Hart Lane would be. If he’s right, you know something needs correcting.”
