Villas-Boas: “I want as many chances as Greece”

Athenian reasoning

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has demanded that Roman Abramovich gives him more bites at the cherry than the Eurozone are giving Greece.

The Portuguese has stood glumly by on the touchline and watched countless opportunities to pay back some of the money the Russian spent on him go to waste in various abysmal performances this season, in a display of managerial incompetence comparable with Greece’s economists.

Villas-Boas said, “I have a long-term vision for this club somewhat similar to what Arsene Wenger’s doing at Arsenal.

“He’s still there years later so I don’t see what everyone’s problem is.

“And considering Greece has just bagged another 130bn-euro investment despite facing certain relegation, I’m expecting something similar from up top in the summer.”
