Owen Hargreaves heckled by Andrew Lansley

Manchester City stretcher-warmer Owen Hargreaves was heckled by health secretary Andrew Lansley as he made his way to the treatment table in the club’s medical centre this morning.

Lansley was heckled himself yesterday due to public anger over changes to the NHS and felt the need to dish out the treatment to individuals he believes are truly responsible for taking up the time of skilled staff.

Hargreaves now needs more time to recover

We interrupted Mr Lansley shouting “shame” over and over to expand on his motivations for such behaviour.

“David Cameron’s managing the dismantling of the NHS about as effectively as Roberto Mancini, but I’m not going to be his Carlos Tevez!” the health secretary fumed.

“I’m here to pass on some of the ‘sticks and stones’ I’ve been taking to people like Hargreaves.

“Unfortunately even metaphorical sticks and stones will probably put him out for another few months.”
