Ferguson reveals desire to “live on” at Old Trafford

In an exclusive interview, Manchester United’s eternally-serving manager Sir Alex Ferguson has finally admitted his plans never to leave the dugout.

Having pretended to be considering retirement for years, the Scot came clean and told us he intends “to remain at United, alive or dead, for even longer than it takes Arsenal to win their next piece of silverware”.

Obviously that could take forever and a day.

Rumours are circulating as to how United might keep Ferguson on the touchline, with speculation that they have already picked out a plot of land right next to where the fourth official stands.

This is so that, even if his physical presence is buried in the ground, his spirit will linger to haunt the refereeing team for the rest of time.

    Ha, nice one.

The drunken old bastard will be there for as long they keep him propped up with whisky.
