British sport fans to ignore Super Bowl as usual

February 5, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

Our research has found that sport fans across the UK are as indifferent to tonight’s Super Bowl as ever.

Pointless coverage on the BBC is scheduled to show two groups of men in silly costumes running around in some bizarre form of rugby that they actually call football, which only adds to viewers’ frustration.

Epic fail

Liz from Wiltshire said, “It’s the Giants v Patriots? How funny!

“Why don’t they have a team called the Boston Bunnies? That would be so cute!”

And Donald from Inverness argued, “I’ve got better stuff to do on a Sunday night than waste hours watching a load of grown men getting paid for doing something completely daft and pointless.

“I do that all week at work anyway.”

I didn’t realise it was a sport – I thought the game was the breaks in the adverts!!
As for baseball World Series (USA & Canada teams only) needs to be rebranded North American Series – if it was in the EEC it’d be changed pronto

Should get Jermaine Beckford over there – he’d sort them out sharpish!
