Blackburn supporters to sue Steve Kean and players for relegation woes

Kean: court date

Inspired by Joey Barton’s proposal that players should be allowed to sue officials for poor decisions, suffering Blackburn supporters are looking into ways of elevating their protests to the next stage by suing Steve Kean for being such a bad manager.

Despite earning brief respite due to the spectacular win at Old Trafford, a home defeat to Stoke has meant it is only a matter of time until the crowds start baying for blood once again.

Former referee Graham Poll argued, “This is ridiculous. Does this mean referees can sue Arsene Wenger for all his questionable comments about their decisions?

“Thank goodness Barton isn’t running FIFA or Australia could have taken me to the cleaners for that three-yellow-card trick in 2006!

“Although, as it’s football, it’s only a matter of time until Joey’s in charge I guess.”
