Steve Kean suddenly toast of Britain

December 31, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

Blackburn manager Steve Kean – harangued by many of his own supporters for most of 2011 – has ended the year in the best possible way by leading Rovers to a shock 3-2 win at Old Trafford, thereby instantly going from zero to hero.

He completes an incredible twelve months in which he has almost single-handedly kept back pages full, and has chosen the perfect moment to boost absolutely everyone so that he can attempt the same feat in the new year.

Glen from Peterborough noted, “Kean’s a machine. Not only has he stuck through all the drama and abuse but now he’s given everyone a reason to celebrate on new year’s eve and get absolutely battered.

“I wouldn’t watch Blackburn play if you paid me but I’d certainly buy him a drink tonight if I had the chance.

“As would anyone else who doesn’t support United.”
