Andy Murray appoints Loch Ness Monster as new coach

Andy Murray will begin 2012 once again with the aim of winning his first Grand Slam, and has chosen Scottish veteran Nessie to coach him to the peak of his performance.

Nessie: lethal in defence

Following a string of high-profile yet unsuccessful predecessors, the ancient loch-residing monster is determined to instil the required discipline and psychological toughness.

Over the years Nessie has shown exemplary defence and passivity in staying out of the way and keeping out of trouble, but is also known to possess formidable attacking skills when required, therefore being an excellent match with the Scot’s attributes on the court.

Murray’s mum explained, “Andy felt it was time for someone a bit different so you can’t argue with his decision can you?

“The Loch Ness Monster has always been somewhat withdrawn, anti-social and soggy, and so there should be real chemistry between the pair.

“Having Nessie sat next to me in the player’s box during matches could easily provide the psychological boost he needs to get past the top players finally.”

    Nice one.

Maybe the monster will encourage him to change his name to ‘Tim’ in time for Wimbledon.
