Automatic selections

Various sportspeople and the wider public are continuing to express their dismay at the apparently biased selection process for the Team GB ambassador roles.

Three of the individuals have been revealed to all be from the Royal family, despite there being a multitude of better qualified people capable of filling the positions.

Cyclist Mark Cavendish said, “It’s so unfair – how come me and nine other random blokes get onto the shortlist for Sports Personality of the Year but don’t get a look in for this?

“The selection procedure obviously needs reviewing in light of many sportsmen and commoners inexplicably not making the cut.

“We don’t want any footballers though – they’re a bit too common.”
