Liverpool to consider moving to Stamford Bridge

November 30, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

Following Liverpool’s simple 2-0 win away against Chelsea in the Carling Cup, Kenny Dalglish and the board are listening to suggestions that they solve the supporters’ wishes for a new stadium by relocating to Stamford Bridge.

Many are pessimistic though, demanding that at the very least a sign be put up along the lines of “This is most definitely not Anfield”.

When we broached the subject in his post-match interview Dalglish said, “We’re taking it on board – our form is much better here in recent years anyway so it might be the boost we’ve been looking for to win the league again.

“We’ve struggled to win at Anfield this season but since I came back every visit here has been such an easy three points that it would be great if we could play here most weeks.

“We know they’re looking to move away to Battersea – everyone can see Chelsea is going to the dogs so they might as well – and it could work out very well.
