Mike Tindall returned to elite player squad by hungover appeal panel

Mike Tindall has been reinstated into the English rugby elite player squad after showing the appeal panel “a good time”.

Tindall subsequently claimed he had been made a scapegoat by the RFU due to their resentment at him consistently drinking them under the table.

Tindall fumed, “Everyone’s got this bad opinion of me but you should see Rob Andrew and the other suits on a night out – they really struggle to hold their drink even!

“I don’t think they understand we’re not at university anymore.”

The RFU decided he did not deliberately mislead team management about his movements that night as their studying of the evidence convinced them he would have been too drunk to know which nation he was representing, let alone how to behave professionally.
