Following England spinner Graeme Swann’s comments that one-day cricket should be scrapped, people from most other countries in the world have begged for the other forms of the game to go too.

Swann said, “I think one-day cricket will have to go at some point, hopefully for everyone,” leading many people around the globe to hope for escape after decades of sporting oppression.

Louis from Strasbourg paraphrased Swann, “I think cricket will have to go at some point, for the good of everyone.”

Jorge from Valencia revealed, “I even find Formula One less tortuous.”

Panos from Athens remarked, “I’d rather sit through five days of the Eurozone leaders deciding how best to dispose of Greece.”

In typical American fashion, Rick from Florida argued, “It’s like a stupid version of baseball.”
