Intergalactic megastar David Beckham is said be furious and feeling “left out” after allegations against British tabloids uncovered by the Leveson inquiry that they rifled celebrities’ bins for stories.

Golden Balls’ anger comes as the British media threatens to go 48 hours without headline about him, only days after Beckham got his hands on a US ‘soccer’ trophy which makes the Carling Cup look more prestigious than a Nobel Prize.

One of his army of spokespeople said, “The almighty Beckham is ready to unleash his wrath on those in the tabloids who have been terrorising the poor McCanns, Steve Coogan and Hugh Grant instead of trying to achieve 110% Beckham coverage in their columns.

“Given that most of you spend your ‘working day’ kissing his backside anyway, you can’t even raise hygiene concerns as a genuine excuse.

“Victoria also is enraged and has found your neglect emotive enough to write a song about it.

“You’re about to feel pain like you’ve never felt before.”

That’s pretty good. He was desperate for someone to find his old Alice Band and flog it on Ebay.
