AC Milan recognise Thanksgiving by buying plump Argentinian turkey

Italian football giants AC Milan have entered into the celebratory and generous mood of Thanksgiving by offering to pay money for a large turkey currently owned by Manchester City.

Man or beast?

The bird at the centre of negotiations hails from Argentina (when he feels like it) and has been called Carlos Tevez.

A City official said, “We’re delighted someone’s finally shown an interest in taking Carlos off our table as we were growing sick of his incessant squawking.

“We’ve let him have a wonder around in the hills back in Argentina though, so if they want him they can go and find him because we certainly aren’t going to.

“Having cared for him for years now, we advise the purchasers to stuff him as soon as possible.”

Milan’s reply was, “We’ve already got one turkey at the club. He’s now permanently stuck in the boardroom and is known as Silvio Berlusconi.

“Hopefully getting him a friend will keep them both quiet for a while.

“We’re not holding our breath though.”

    That is immense. Truly immense.

Tevez is the ideal replacement for Cassano; his heart isn’t in it anymore.
