Liebster Blog Award of the month nominees

November 23, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

With thanks to the truly incomprehensible Michael Cargill, Kicking Sport was given a Liebster Blog Award and therefore would like to recommend five further blogs as part of this rather bizarre online ritual.

Firstly a word about Mr. Michael Cargill, without whose help, advice and ideas to steal this site would not be the pathetic pile of unfunny spite and moronic ramblings that you see before you now. Kicking Sport struggles to find the words to describe him and his blog, probably because sporty people have rather limited vocabularies.

Below are five promising reserve team players who are being considered for a run-out for the first eleven. Please have a look at the links and give your opinion on whether they deserve to be let out of the academy to try their luck in the dangerous and Godless blogging world.

Kicking Sport’s substitutes’ bench:

First up is a blog solely about the most important subject in the world. Not the Eurozone crisis or the struggle for democracy across the Arab world, but football of course. Aptly titled: A Football Blog.

For those who enjoy a wider range of sports and more, especially seeking a perspective from the US, try the Pitch of Dreams.

Back to football, with a worryingly sensible approach to the English Premier League is See It Paint It.

From the man behind Hit the Sport comes a new blog to share his ideas on various issues on the sporting world and more: Hit the Sport Blog.

Last and certainly least (where else for a Newcastle supporter?) is Gerry Waldon, who has very kindly contributed to this site and has his own for his Sporting Thought. He needs to keep going though, or risks going the same way as Alan Pardew surely will very soon.

It is expected that you will support these lads fully as they are required to give 110.87% in each performance for the rest of the season, including posting a blog entry about five of their own nominees and letting those they choose know, otherwise they shall be sent to the dressing-room for an early shower…

With Avram Grant.

No, thank you! If I were Andy Carroll, you would be my Emile Heskey!

Alex, I commented on your blog but all my comments get stuck in the spam box for some reason.

You might need to go and rescue it.

Yo Alistair. Quick tip – at the moment your comment-posting name isn’t linked to your blog so you are missing out on visitors. Easily fixed:

Dashboard > Users > Personal Settings. Scroll down to the ‘Website’ box and put the full address of your blog in. Save settings.

      Done!
