UK Sport ask Moynihan what exactly he’s on

UK Sport is said to be fuming over Colin Moynihan’s critical comments about the leniency of rules against drugs cheats competing in next year’s Olympics, only hours after they announced this was a key reason why they were confident of getting a better medals haul than in Beijing.

The debate comes after American LaShawn Merritt had his ban preventing him from participating overturned. UK Sport argued it would also negatively impact attendance figures as they said much of the youthful population living in the area surrounding the venue are taking something illegal pretty regularly.

Chief executive Liz Nicholl said, “All the signs are very, very positive indeed. But we’ll let anyone have a go as long as they represent team GB.”

A typically relaxed Usain Bolt argued, “Let them then, no-one’ll get close to me anyway.

“I can only lose it if I somehow fail to keep between the lines.

“The lines on the track I mean.”
