Impatient Liverpool ponder alternative to Dalglish

Liverpool fans have been calling for the head of hero Kenny Dalglish after their disappointing 0-0 draw with Swansea.

The chairman of the Liverpool supporters club said, “King Kenny has proved himself to be a fraud. How dare he get off to a flying start and fool us all into thinking it is 1987 again?!”

Chairman John W Henry is consulting with his business associates as to whether it would be possible for Bill Shankly to be placed in the dugout to provide motivation.

Henry said, “I see no need for a new manager. If Kenny goes I will save money whilst retaining the populist approach that has served my approval ratings well so far.

“If putting Shankly in the dugout doesn’t work, I will consider propping him up behind our  goal. The sight of him will surely scare away opposing attackers, and also our own defenders will be encouraged to take more part in attacking play. The result will be free-flowing football for the whole family to enjoy.”

The news has received a favourable reaction from the Kop crowd, which will put Kenny under serious pressure to get results over the coming weeks.
