Terry In New Race Row

November 3, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

John Terry was today embroiled in a new race row to add to his alleged abuse towards Anton Ferdinand.

In training for Saturday’s trip to Blackburn Rovers, Terry was said to have started a fight with Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck after the elderly board member beat him in a 30 yard dash.

Terry became quite aggressive towards  the 64-year-old Buck, threatening a fist-fight, but was unable to catch him as the Chelsea supremo made a hasty retreat to his office.

Concerns over John Terry’s pace have been growing in recent months, and this latest revelation will not help his case, as he aims to keep his reputation as one of England’s best defenders.

When asked about this alarming new incident, Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas was worried by his captain’s fitness.

“I am finding it difficult to justify the selection of John Terry”, said Villas-Boas.

“For the incident with Bruce Buck I have fined him two weeks wages, and he must do two hours on the treadmill every day to build up his speed.

“As for my chairman, well I would like to invite him along to the training sessions. With Terry’s suspension there is a free spot in defence, and Buck clearly has the physique required.”
