Redknapp: Warnock despised enough to be England manager

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has made strong suggestions that his QPR counterpart Neil Warnock already commands enough loathing amongst many English football supporters to become a qualified manager of the national team.

Ahead of their Premier League clash, Redknapp also claimed that Warnock has alienated enough of those involved in football during his tenures at various clubs for his popularity not to be able to diminish any further, making him a serious candidate.

Redknapp told us, “You look at the amount of people Neil’s riled wherever he’s been and his record speaks for itself.

“He knows how to make average players into an average team and not win anything of note so he’d get my vote.

“Not to mention his unbalanced manner of blasting referees and everyone else for just about everything that happens to his sides.

“I don’t think he gets enough recognition for all that.”
