Manu Tuilagi out for six weeks with “belly flop injury”

It is rumoured that English rugby star Manu Tuilagi’s six-week injury may have been sustained during some sort of aquatic misadventure involving a ferry in New Zealand.

Tuilagi will be out until December with a broken cheekbone which may or may not have been caused by swimming too close to gigantic cruise liners.

The news means that the centre will not be able to play his part in the post-match antics of his team during the opening stages of this season’s Heineken Cup.

Leicester Tigers Director of Rugby Richard Cockerill confirmed, “Manu seems to have picked up a cheekbone injury during a ‘drunken backstroke’ incident.

“It appears he tried to rugby tackle one of the ferries on his way towards getting arrested.

“We’re having a terrible run of luck with injuries, and it’s funny how bad luck always comes about when your players act like that.”

That’s pretty good actually. I had to do a Google image search on him though – he is quite a large ‘un.
