Uruguayan club Nacional are celebrating after they neared an agreement with Liverpool which would see the Anfield club have first option on signing the most promising young cheats in their academy.

Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli had previously stated he was keen to use the links provided by South American cheats currently at the club, such as Lucas Leiva, but Suarez’s outstanding form this season has forced his hand to negotiate with Nacional as a matter of priority.

A Nacional spokesman explained, “Liverpool would come and watch how our academy works, and then choose whichever of the youngsters can hit the ground quickest in the area.

“We’re very proud to be the club where Luis Suarez started his career as he is now one of the most sought after cheats in the world.

“Whether it’s diving for no reason or constantly insulting and riling opponents and officials, Luis always gives his all for the team.

“He can produce world-class gamesmanship on the biggest stage, as he proved in the World Cup quarter-final last year, and we’re sure to have more players like him coming through the ranks here in the years to come.

“We are confident that Liverpool will be satisfied with their decision, and we will be able to supply the quality of young cheating talent to drive them back to the top of world football.”

The truth is out there…
